Homecoming 2018 - MUBA's 40th Anniversary

Register for Homecoming 2018

Homecoming 2018 weekend was October 19 - 20, 2018.

MU Black Alumni members experienced a memorable Homecoming 2018.   There was a weekend full of events and food.  Good times were available for everyone.

The weekend included a Friday night comedy show with comedians, who have appeared on BET, Comic View, and VH1.  The comedy show was combined with a dance to kick start the weekend.

The events on Saturday included a Tailgate party, which was held on the Marshall University campus' Into Field.  The tailgate was a great event with good food, good music and good fellowship.

On Saturday evening, MUBA hosted the 40th Anniversary Banquet - Dance.  All of the MUBA Founders were represented.  MUBA recognized each of the founders to show our appreciation for their vision and efforts for incorporating MU Black Alumni, Inc,

After the Banquet, MUBA members and guests mingled and danced into the night.

MUBA hosted a Hospitality Suite, which was open on both Friday and Saturday nights.  MUBA members were at the Hospitality Suite until the early morning hours,

On Sunday, MUBA conducted a Memrial Service to honor deceased MUBA members from October 2017 through October 2018.  The service was conducted at First Baptist Church, Huntington WV.  MUBA member, Bishop Frederick Brown was the speaker and provided an inspirational message.
